Bollywood3000 News: Cute Katrina Kaif, the reigning queen of Bollywood, who has gone from strength to strength with each of her flicks, is indebted to Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar for giving her their whole-hearted support during her nascent days.

She even hails them as her godfather and expresses her gratitude to the two stars who made her what she is today.

Speaking of her 20 year senior actor cum boyfriend Salman Khan, Kat says,

“Apart from guiding me, Salman had confidence in me. He is not the person to say that because he is friendly with you. He will say it genuinely.”

Showering credit to her favourite co-star Akshay Kumar, the ‘Rajneeti’ girl voices her thankfulness with the words,

“There are too many people whom I can call my godfather. I am grateful and indebted to them. Even Akshay Kumar took a risk in working with me initially. He did not know me at all. He was at crossroads of his career. When he did `Namastey London`, people thought he had gone insane. Nobody is going to damage or destroy himself to help somebody else. Salman and Akshay believed in me and that is my good fortune and destiny. Had those films failed, nobody could have done anything for me. I don`t think I would have got a second chance if the movies bombed,”

Some people, especially the die-hard fans of Aishwarya Rai, who also advocate themselves as anti-Katrina, feel that Kat is an ugly, manly gal with not a single acting bone in her body. They also accuse her of using Salman as a stepping stone to success and severely slash her as an arrogant person. However, I would beg to differ and say that she is one of the most committed and grounded actresses of our tinsel town.

Salman Khan refuses the script for television awards function!

Bollywood3000 News: Mumbai: Salman Khan recently put his foot down and refused to stick to the script that was written for him as he was taking part in an awards function.

It was for a television awards function that Salman Khan was supposed to be interviewed by the show’s host Vidya Malavade and the organisers of the show had an elaborate script in place for the Salman interview for which Vidya Malavade was the host.

“After Salman was given the script, he took it into his vanity van to read it and after sometime came out and said that he won’t be able to follow what has been written in the script,” says a source.
Sources say that the script given to Salman contained an offending question to him regarding Katrina Kaif. According to the script, Salman was supposed to stare at Vidya for a few seconds after the question was asked and then he would get up and run away.

Salman, as per the script, was only supposed to return back to the interview when a scared Vidya would repeatedly apologise to him for asking such an impertinent question. The act, according to sources, was to be used for the promotions by the producers on television. It is not known whether somebody leaked it to Salman about the promotions bit or he didn’t want to be a part of the scripted affair — he simply refused to play the game that was set up for him.

“Yes, such a script had been prepared where Salman Khan was asked to pretend to get offended by one of her (Vidya Malavade’s) questions, and threatens to walk out. Vidya has never interacted with Salman before and the unit was aware of that. But Salman refused to do so.

“Instead he was his charming self, jovial and witty through the interview. After which he even graciously complimented her on her performance in Striker and Chak De!India as well as her compering skills,” says a spokesperson for Vidya confirming the incident.

However now that Katrina is in the top spot with an experience of seven years to back her up she says she is still not ready to advice anyone else. “The only guidance or advice I have given anyone is to stand by the film even if you feel you made a mistake. Be loyal to all your films,” says Katrina.

The actress’s younger sister Isabella was supposed to join the industry too. however Kat says there will be time before she gets into acting and it will be upto her where she wants to try her luck – India or in the west.

“My sister is still studying in America right now,” reveals Katrina. We are sure Katrina would like to be more helpful to her sister.

Salman Khan playing the original Amrish Puri’s role in villainy in Mr. India 2!

Bollywood3000: Boney Kapoor is planning the sequel to his mega hit ‘Mr. India’in a big way with a Rs. 100 crore budget. This sequel will have Salman Khan  playing he villain which will surpass the original Amrish Puri’s role in villainy. The movie will be a 3D one with SFX effects and topline technology.

Boney Kapoor intends on leaving no stones unturned for making it big this time. He says, “It’s true that the budget has shot up to Rs100 crore, as I intend to make the sequel in 3D. I’m bringing down technicians from abroad to create Salman’s ‘look’ for ‘Mr.India 2′.

It’s something that has never been attempted on this scale before. It’s a big challenge for me to present Salman in negative role. And I’m sure that it’ll be a role that will be remembered for a very long time.”

Since, Sallu Bhai is no longer interested in chocolate boy roles, hope this project gives him a relief after burning fingers with the disaster ‘Veer’.

Katrina Kaif has finally decided enough is enough! Salman protect her

After having maintained silence about her personal life for a long time, actress Katrina Kaif has finally decided enough is enough!

She has come out of her shell and has gone on to state matter of factly, that ever since her entry into bollywood, she has been very lucky to have met well wishers, who have helped her to get to the position that she is in, today. The actress has also stated that it was Salman Khan, who had guided her and had the confidence in her to make it big in bollywood.

Kat, who has been linked with her Co- starts ample of times, especially Ranbir Kapoor, seemed to be quite miffed with the media for doing such frivolous speculations.

She said that it was not possible to change ones personal feelings that fast, and added that forget love, even an infatuation would not be got over so soon. The innumerable stories doing the rounds about her alleged relationships, has certainly played a toll on the actress’ mind.

Katrina has also stated that getting a film flopped or a hit at the box office was not in the actors hands alone, there were many factors that accounted for the success or failure of films. 1. Shahrukh Khan (Brother-in-law) – Ash can treat Shahrukh as her brother-in-law. After all, Shahrukh had himself said in a recent award ceremony that ‘Amit ji hume apna beta jaisa hi maante hain’ (Amitabh Bachchan treats me as his son). So, that means SRK is as good as Abhishek’s brother and, therefore, as good as Aishwarya’s brother-in-law.

Yes! It was not difficult for me. I can mug up ten pages at a stretch. I have an accent problem but I’ve tried to manage it well. In fact, when I sat down to surf some of the real characters from the political arena; I thought that in the quest of getting into some real political character, I was going wrong. Hence I decided to follow my reel character only. As a modern contemporary youth, I have tried to get the body language of Priyanka Gandhi. But by no means can you compare my reel character to any living political characters. You guys are just comparing me to Sonia Gandhi because I too belong to an English mother, with fair skin and black hair which is not really so.

You came into this industry fresh, who do you give credit to as your Godfather?
Ya! I am not one belonging to the Bollywood industry. Everyone has a Godfather. I have not one but many Godfathers who may have helped me attain the kind of success I have achieved in this short span of my career. Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar have definitely helped me get to the horizon. I would also credit the blessings showered upon me by the almighty God which is why I have been able to achieve success.

It’s the survival of the fittest. And you are on the top of the female lead stars. How do you feel about it?
I feel good to be topping the list. If this comparison brings me on the top of the list why will I not like ranking. Human tendency is such that we love to be number one. Why will I not like the number game? But there ought to be a fair competition. We need not pursue wrong ways to just boost up our career. Our work needs to speak more than our action/words. If you say I’m topping the list in the number one game then I really feel elated.

Is it true that you are essaying Madhubala’s character in the biopic on Kishore Kumar?
I am open to doing good films. Being in the profession I need to know the script, if it is going to work or not. Yes! I do discuss it with my close people but the final decision rests with me. I am in the process of sorting out the details with UTV Productions. Nothing has been finalized as yet. I feel the media is in a bit of a hurry to publish news even before confirming it, which was not the case earlier.

What profession would you have pursued if you weren’t a part of the Bollywood industry?
I have always been a day dreamer. Probably because I had a sense of insecurity as we have been wanderers. We never were stationed in one place. I always loved to be a fire-fighter also performing stunts would always fancy me. I love to live in a castle built world.

You seem to be very excited about working with Hrithik, is it true?
Yes! I’m very excited about working with Hrithik tentatively in a movie titled Zindagi Mile Na Dobara. This film is surely going to be a path-breaking and a youthful film. I am sure it will be a brilliant film. My role is that of a free spirited girl. I'm really looking forward to work with Hrithik Roshan. Although it is a difficult character but I will surely be able to perform to the best of my ability.

How do you manage to stay in such a great shape?
I hate doing regular gym. I feel good exercise twice or thrice a week only. I remember how my trainer of Tees Maar Khan made me do rigorous exercises. But now I just tell him to schedule it only twice a week. I believe in maintaining a proper diet. I maintain myself by following the right kind of lifestyle.

Katrina Kaif on Raajneeti - Will Salman be a Life Partner of her after 2 years?

Bollywood3000: ‘Rajneeti’ is the highly awaited film that’s itching to be unleashed this summer on the Bollywood screen. It is being talked about as the landmark  film for Katrina Kaif who plays the most challenging and difficult role of her life in this political saga.

Speaking about the labour (especially on her Hindi dialogues) that she has put in for this Prakash Jha film, she humbly says that she has tried her best with every film. In her own words, “When one works in a serious film people think that maybe more work has gone into it. But the fact is that to make a successful film is the hardest thing.

Every film of mine which has been a success has been equally hard – be it ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ and ‘Singh is Kinng’ or ‘New York’ and ‘Raajneeti’. Whether it’s a comedy or a serious film, moviemaking is a serious business and there is lot of money dragging on it. I give it my 100 percent.”

On a more personal note, is she really going to tie the knot after 2 years, as she had said? Katrina blows the candle off and quenches the issue as she quips, “Actually I am the one to blame. I was the one who had said that maybe I would be married in two years time. But things are different now and there is still time before I get married. As the saying goes, ‘man proposes, God disposes’, every time we make a plan God changes it.”

“I have learnt not to make plans in life, because a lot of time you make a plan that is not going to work for you. Right now I am working on my career and trying to be genuine to my work. If you respect what you have got, God will give you what you need,” she signs off.

BOLLYWOOD300 MUMBAI: Salman Khan reportedly encouraged co-star Sridevi to take up painting again.

The actress recently sold one of her paintings for $40,000 (£26,000) at a charity auction.

Her husband, producer Boney Kapoor, said: "It was only during the making of Wanted that the entire thing was ignited again."

He added that Sridevi's painter friend Subhash Awchat had also been an inspiration.

"She considers him her mentor. We have a very, very good rapport.

"In fact, she's been pushed into this by him. And Salman."

The two stars will next be seen in the follow-up to Kapoor's superhero filmMr India, where Salman will take on Amrish Puri's role of Mogambo.

Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai- Sallu bhai cancel his Dabang trip under Ash pressure

Bollywood Superstar Aishwarya Rai Bachachan in whatever form it may be human or smoke but surely has a negative impact upon Salman Khan’s life and this time his favored trip to Switzerland has been cancelled by Iceland volcano’s ash cloud.

Actually Salman’s home production flick ‘Dabbang’ was scheduled to take place in Switzerland but due to a havoc created by ash cloud bringing European aviation to a suspension, he had to cancel his trip under its pressure.

Now the shoot is scheduled for Dubai, producer Arbaaz Khan to a greater surprise thankfully adds, "We were to fly today to Switzerland to shoot for a romantic song sequence choreographed on Sonakshi Sinha and Salman but now thanks to Eyjafjallajokull (the name of the Icelandic glacier where the volcano erupted), we have had to shift our venue to Dubai."

After a lot of trial tickets to Switzerland could not be booked, he stated, "We tried working out the flights to Switzerland till the last moment but it just wasn't happening. We had Salman's dates and didn't want to waste them by postponing the schedule.”

Hope this time Salman does not gets into further entanglement.

Salman Khan Dabang: Is he really that bad person, or its just his bad luck?

People know him as a brat, foul mouthed possessive play boy who loses his temper so easily that he can punch you anytime in your face, but do we actually know the truth about Salman Khan. Is he really that bad person, or its just his bad luck, some ill calculated decisions, and the wrath of media which has painted him as the ‘Dabang’ (Goon) of Bollywood.

He has again pulled off a ‘good Samaritan’ job, which will not only make his fans go proud on him, but it will be a solid reply to all those nay-sayers, who criticize Sallu Bhai.

Recently, he was in Wai, doing the shooting for his next movie ‘Dabang’. It attracted a lot of crowd from every corner. We all know the fan fare Sallu enjoys, so it is a normal thing for Salman. But in this huge crowd, a lot of aged people were also present. As usual Salman was very polite to them. He used to meet them on the sets, and exchanged pleasantries. Not only this, he also invited them over lunch. Then he comes to know that many aged people in that village have eye problem. Many had poor vision, sore eyes, and even cataract.

Salman couldn’t see them in this condition, and he called an eye surgeon and his team from Mumbai into that village. He asked them to do a thorough checkup of all those people. He was told that most of them has cataract. Salman brought all of them to a Pune hospital, and got them operated. He also took care of the post surgery medicines.

“When first checked it was found that 26 aged people were suffering from cataract problems. Salman accompanied them to Pune for their surgeries. The following week he took another 22 old folks to Pune and had their cataract surgeries performed too.” Revealed a source.

Well, now my question is to everyone. How many media reporters, gossip mongers, or the News Channel wallahs do we know, who try to paint him black, has ever helped a cataract patient (or any person who has some ailment.). It is certainly easy to pass a judgment and malign someone. It takes a tremendous amount of courage to be a human. And Salman has yet again proved that he is a good human being.

Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan the Perfect Indian villain?

Remember the famous one-liner from the grinning lips of Amrish Puri (Indian cinema’s finest villain) as he wickedly mouthed ‘Mogambo khush hua’ (Mogambo feels happy) in that science-fiction classic ‘Mr. India’. Well, now that Mr. India 2 is being made (I hope that’s not a news to you) I wonder if Salman Khan would do justice to his character. After all, he is playing a villain on the lines of Mogambo in this huge project that will be a sequel to the original blockbuster.

Though, Salman obviously has the talent (he is not there in the industry for 20 years just for nothing) but he has to dive into the role of a perfectionist to pull this one off. He does have the charisma but it would be a challenge given that he has never ever played a negative character of such a huge magnitude.

In fact, the producer Boney Kapoor oozes in confidence as he says, “I am also bringing down foreign technicians to do Salman’s look. He will be seen in a negative role that will be remembered for a long time. It’s also something he has never been attempted on this scale before. Even for us, it will be a big challenge to project Salman as a negative character.”

Now, will Salman deliver this time? Surely, he needs a biggie in his kitty as his star power is fading with age and advent of new breed of actors. And he, too, knows that a big award is missing from his cabinet. Enough of SRK and Aamir! Let’s see some Salman Khan power now. Hopefully, his fans would scream ‘Hum khush hue’ after coming out of the theatres.

Salman Khan, Aamir Khan- who has one of the fittest physiques in the tinsel town?

Salman Khan, the handsome hunk of bollywood who is in his mid- forties, has refused to star as an youngster in Abhishek Dogra’s film after patiently listening to the script for almost ninety minutes at his pad in Bandra.

However, Sallubhai did not discourage the young filmmaker, who is Ahmed Khan’s assistant, and suggested some changes in his script, which was readily agreed to. Salman Khan, who has one of the fittest physiques in the tinsel town, felt that the role did not suit his age and personality. And hence the filmmaker should excuse him. But, insiders reveal another story about the whole rejection of the script.

They point out that the film had three main heroes in it and Salman Khan would have to share screen space with three other heroes and this was not to the liking of Salman Khan, and he opted out of the project. Though Salman Khan may have reservation about playing a college kid or other young role but bollywood’s perfectionist Khan, Aamir Khan, does not have any reservation.

In fact, Aamir Khan had essayed the character of a college kid in ‘Rang De Basanti’. Even Amitabh Bachchan played the part of a school kid ‘Auro’ in his critically acclaimed flick ‘Paa’.

Though Salman Khan rejected the proposal on the basis of age but even brawny Khan never objects to be parried opposite heroines half of his age. The latest example of this is Salman Khan starrer ‘Dabanng’, wherein the brawny star has been paired opposite Sonakshi Sinha,  who is even less than half of his age.

It’s hard to believe but the latest buzz doing rounds in the B-town suggests of a supposed patch up between Abhishek Bachchan and Salman Khan. Grapevine has it that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s hubby Abhishek and her ex-lover Salman have apparently put an end to their animosity, as Abhi was recently found supporting Sallu on a social networking site.

Jr Bachchan and Sallu have not been on talking terms because of Ash, who was dating Salman before tying the knot with Abhishek, and the actress’ love relationship with Khan was a much-hyped affair in itself.

However, according to the latest buzz, Abhishek seems to be in a mood to bury the hatchet with the macho guy, as he stood up for Salman on a social networking platform when a misinformed journo attacked the latter for doing a hosiery advertisement.

Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan Marriage: After 2 years, Is it Possible?

‘Rajneeti’ starrer Katrina Kaif, who is the heart throb of millions of males, has put her matrimonial  alarm to ring after two years. On being quizzed about her matrimonial plans, she gives herself a deadline of 2 years and says that for the next couple of years she would like to concentrate on her career and thereafter walk down the aisle.

In her own words, “I think in two years I will get married. But still two years is a long time. I think I still have some time. Let’s see. You know as the saying goes, `Man proposes god disposes` – so every time we make a plan god comes and changes it. Let`s see.”

Now, was that a hint towards Mr. Salman Khan who is her boyfriend or by the time, will Salman become too old for her?
