Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shilpa Shetty, Amitabh Bachchan: Most common things?

Bollywood3000 News Updates: The most popular film stars of bollywood are prone to certain beliefs and prejudices, and the highest common factor found to be predominant amongst many stars, male or female are that they are all addicted to the stones!

Now, The stones, refers to the Gem Stones, and not just any stone. So, if we look closely at stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan or even the sexy Shilpa Shetty, to name just a few, they all have the Gemstone or Stones, flashing from their fingers or even wrist( in case of Salman Khan).

For instance, Amitabh Bachchan is known to adorn these blue Sapphires, and at one point of time he even had two of them on his right hand middle finger. It slowly came back to just one later.

Salman Khan, who is well known for his patent thick silver chain wrist band with an oval shaped blue stone, whatever that, might be, but, he never seems to remove it from his right wrist.

Aishwarya Rai is seen flaunting her gemstone in her middle finger too, but hers is also on the right hand finger. Shilpa Shetty, who is known for her Emerald and diamond studded ring, worn in her little finger of her right hand. She wears her engagement diamond stud in her left ring finger!

Now, what must these great stars want out of these gemstones, do these bring in any good turn of events in ones life? There are innumerable questions regarding these remedial measures, but strangely, the answer is just a simple one- It’s all in the mind!

If the wearer of the stone has a distinct belief, then all eternity will shower their blessings on you. If not, then every diamond under the Sun cannot help you to overcome your problems!

When the stars get together to chat you can be sure it's juicy! Whether they gossip about their latest love interest or newest fight with a movie director, we love to know what's going on in our favorite celebs' lives!

But while a photo can say more than words, it's hard to tell from a pic what the stars are up to. So why don't you tell us; what are they sayin'?

Oh, oh! What is going on here? Aishwarya Rai Bachchan bumped into Preity Zinta  the other day at an event, and it doesn't look like the two were all smiles! Even Ritesh Deshmukh looks nervous about being in the picture!

Could they simply be discussing a script for a new - serious - movie they are working on? Or are the two Bollywood actresses talking about who should walk in front of the cameras and who should stay behind?

Judging by Ritesh's facial expression, the girls are not all chummy, chummy! The "Housefull" actor looks quite worried that the photographer will capture the fight!

Shilpa Shetty gets Surprise Gift from her Husband Raj Kundra!

Shilpa Shetty gets an imported four-wheeler from her husband Raj Kundra, the latest in a long line of gifts he has showered on her.

The 'surprises' don't stop coming for Shilpa Shetty. Not that it is surprising anymore, but her husband Raj Kundra has gone out and gifted her yet another mehenga tohfa. The doting hubby gifted her a blue sports car in Jaipur on Tuesday just before the Rajasthan Royals match.

Says a source close to the couple, "Raj is a car fanatic and loves fast sleek cars. He has several luxury cars in London. Last year, in South Africa he had hired a bright red Lamborghini for them to ride around in. This time around, he went ahead and actually bought one in blue for his wife! He had it delivered to Delhi and drove it down to Jaipur. When Shilpa landed at the airport, she saw the car waiting for her and was stunned. After the Jaipur match, it will go back to Mumbai for Shilpa's use."

The source adds that Raj chose the royal blue colour in keeping with the team colours of the Rajasthan Royals, the Indian Premier League cricket team that Shilpa and he own. "At the airport, he told Shilpa that a new Rajasthan Royals merchandise was waiting for her (the new car).

“Interestingly, Shilpa doesn't care much for cars, though she loves speed. In Mumbai, she has one luxury car and is happy with that. And though this is Raj's gift to her, it will end up being used more by him. He loves driving and will be happy to drive around in Mumbai."

At the RR match on Tuesday, Shilpa was attired in a blue leheriya saree for the first time. The source says, "Normally, Shilpa wears a white vest or T-shirts which she feels are lucky for her but she chose to wear a saree on Tuesday as it was gifted to her by Maharani Padminiji of Jaipur"

Amisha Patel-Shilpa-Maanyata: The New girlie gang in town

Well, friendships aren’t as rare in tinseltown anymore. Especially when the whole nation is bonding over the balla ‘n’ gend (read: IPL matches), including the much talked about ‘supposed’ foes, SRK and Katrina.

Even B-town’s lovely biwis and babes are teaming up for some fun. Both on-field and off-field. Yeah, the new girlie gang in town is Amisha Patel, Shilpa Shetty and Maanyata Dutt. They have been bonding for sometime now, and the gaming spirit is only making it stronger.

Recently, they were all in London (it was a coincidence), and the gals went out partying and shopping together. Now that Shilpa is busy with her cricket team, Amisha and Maanyata are cheering for her boys on-field and upping the glam quotient for the ‘royals’.

Amy baby being the only single (supposedly so) gal in the gang, she surely gets a lot of gyaan from the other two much married ladies. Or maybe, the sweet ‘n’ single Amisha gives them some, who knows?

Shilpa Shetty announces wedding date

After working together in Asoka, Shahrukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor are set to team up again for Ra One - a movie that has Khan playing the role of a super hero out to save mankind. Khan and Kapoor were meant to feature in the blockbuster Kal Ho Na Ho, but the actress was replaced with Preity Zinta by filmmaker Karan Johar when she demanded more money.

Kareena Kapoor cannot stop raving about her co-star Kajol, whom she describes as one of the greatest actresses of Indian cinema. The two, who are starring together in Karan Johar's Stepmom, have been getting along like a house on fire. The movie, with Arjun Ramphal as the hero, is set to be released late next year.

Finally, it's confirmed! Karan Johar's eagerly awaited My Name is Khan, with Shahrukh Khan and Kajol in the lead roles, is to be released on February 12 2010. Khan plays a man with autism who goes to San Francisco to find his love - but is suspected of being a terrorist. The movie brings back the dream team of Khan and Kajol, who were last seen together in Khabi Khushi Khabie Gham.

Last week we reported that Asin had signed for Ashutosh Gowari- ker's new movie opposite Abhishek Bachchan. Well, within a week there has been a change of leading lady after Asin apparently backed out citing scheduling problems. She has been replaced by Deepika Padukone. Insiders claim Asin was unhappy with the size of her role.

December seems to be a lucky time for Aamir Khan. Two years ago he made the masterpiece Taare Zameen Par and then last year he gave us Bollywood's biggest hit, Ghajini. Now Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Sharman Joshi and Madhavan are gearing up for the release of 3 Idiots, made by Rajkumar Hirani, the man who made the Munnabhai movies. The first trailers of the film have just been released and the response has been phenomenal.

It's official - Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra are set to be married on November 22. Shilpa wrote on her blog: "I'm going through a lot of mixed feelings - happiness, excitement, nervousness - just like any bride-to-be and sadness as well. I miss my sister and am hoping that she'll be out soon in my last few days at home. My parents are ecstatic and doing everything to make things perfect on my special day. I absolutely adore them! Honestly it still hasn't sunk in completely, it's a strange emotion, can't describe it. The only consolation is that I'm tying the knot with Raj, a man who lets me be myself and doesn't want me or my life to change, that erases premarital jitters." While the wedding will be a private affair for close family, the couple have planned a lavish reception on November 24.

In a predictable development, Vijay's Vettaikaaran will now release on December 18, breaking a rule set by the Tamil Film Producer's Council that all superstar films may only release on festival dates. The initial postponement from Diwali meant the film could then release only for Pongal, but when the producers are the powerful Sun Pictures, rules may be stretched or broken.

Confusion still reigns over Vadivelu's cancelled role in the Sathyaraj-Sundhar C starrer Guru Sishyan. The initial reports from the press said Vadivelu had opted out of the project because he was not happy with his salary. The reports maintained that he had increased his pay demands by more than 100% after the runaway success of Aadhavan. Subsequent reports spoke of a fall out between the actor and director Shakthi Chidambaram over the script.

With Jayam Ravi's Thilaalangadi fast progressing, there is now great excitement about his next film. Provisionally titled Paris, a large portion of the movie will be shot on location in the French capital. It will be produced by Kalpathi S Agoharam, who was responsible for Santhosh Subramaniam, and will feature music by Harris Jayaraj. The lead actress is still to be finalised, and rumours are that the producers are considering Sruthi Hassan.

Surya has had to make a public statement after a recent press report stating that he is to play a lead role in a forthcoming Sri Lankan production. In his letter, Surya strongly refuted the media claims, saying he had never been approached by any Sri Lankan production company and that he had no plans to ever act in a Sri Lankan film. He is currently completing work on Hari's Singam, after which he will commence his Hindi-Tamil venture with director Ramgopal Varma.

Manjo Bharathiraja is to direct a remake of the hit thriller Sigappu Rojakkall, a hit film directed by his father, Bharathiraja, and starring Kamlhassan and Sri Devi. The film will be produced by KR Gangadharan, and will feature the music of Yuvanshanker Raja. Raja's father, Illaiyaraja, scored the music in the original.

Shilpa tells how she spent her New Year night

Year 2008 was an eventful year for Shilpa Shetty. She is looking forward to a fresh start and plans to start a new business venture this year. Interestingly Shilpa who usually performs on New Year eve preferred to spend time with her family.

She celebrated New Year with her beau Raj Kundra and Family in Spain. Shilpa was in the beautiful city of Puerto Banus in Marbella, Spain. She says, "I can't describe the beauty of the city and its culture. There were orange trees in our villa in full bloom which I happily plucked and gorged on."

Speaking about Spanish tradition of celebrating New Year she says, "They say you learn something every day and at 12 Midnight on New Year's Eve, at a restaurant, I learnt how the Spanish bring in their new year.

12 seconds before the clock struck twelve they gave us 12 grapes called the 12 grapes of luck to eat one by one for every second before we screamed Happy New Year."

She continues. "It's not easy to eat them all but the more you eat the luckier the year is, it was a new experience." Shilpa is looking forward to Neeraj Pathtak's Sunny Deol starrer The Man. "I like to start the New Year clean slate… like it's a new beginning." She signs off.
