Recently, Aamir Khan is away on a holiday, and he had only come to Delhi to keep a previous commitment to be at a social awareness drive held for children.

However, the star flew back to his holiday destination and now, Thus he has twittered that on his return journey, he will meet his fans if there is anyone who wants to meet up with him, then it can be possible, as he will meet his fans in groups of 5 and in case of children below 18 years, they should be accompanied by an adult. This meet will take place in Paris, on the 2nd of May, or this Sunday! From there, the star is expected to go to London.

Aamir has also invited his fans to give their e mail sites on his twitter so that he can get back to them but, he also warned that since his was a public site, there could be risks involved in giving personal accounts. So think twice before indulging in this exchange of messages.

All said and done, the fact remains that Aamir, is a down to earth and genuine star who really cares about his fans!

In fact, Aamir Khan had essayed the character of a college kid in ‘Rang De Basanti’. Even Amitabh Bachchan played the part of a school kid ‘Auro’ in his critically acclaimed flick ‘Paa’.

News about Salman Khan being roped in for the show Dus Ka Dum 3, with double the amount per episode, has made enough headlines. Shahrukh Khan-Sanjay Dutt-Aamir Khan: 40+ actors, but Still have a Strong Body

Bollywood actresses can breathe easy. Now the pressure to look good is not only on them, but on the mean folk too. Apart from vigorous exercise, Aamir used to follow a strict die of 16 egg whites and managed to get a good sleep of 8 hours.

Shahrukh Khan never had a chiselled body, but he decided to go for a physical makeover in the film’Om Shanti Om’.It is believed that he took a break of 6 months and worked out religiously to get that 6 pack abs.

He also took care of his diet and Deepika Padukone, his co star in’Om Shanti Om’revealed that during the shootings, they used to gorge on ice creams and biriyani, while Shahrukh used to have his diet food. This action of Shahrukh speaks volumes about his dedication.

Sanjay Dutt too has recently put on some weight as revealed in the film ‘Blue’. One critic even commented that his tummy was moving before him in the film. Recent news suggest that he is going on a strict diet for now and he has plans to keep off alcohol totally now.

Aishwarya Rai-Aamir Khan-Dabang Salman Khan: Movies Of 2010

Bollywood Actress Aishwarya Rai, Bollywood Star Salman Khan and Aamir Khan will all have movies that will hit the silver screen this year. Fans have to do a little more waiting till summer until some of the movies hits the screen.

Salman Khan will be ready with his new release "Dabangg" in which he plays a corrupt cop. The movie is expected this summer.

Aishwarya Rai will be seen "Raavan" with beau Abhishek Bachchan. The movie is scheduled for a June 18th, 2010 release. And our own Aamir Khan will have "Dhobighat" at the year end. It is a luxury to see Aamir Khan with releases back to back years and his fans will be very happy with this opportunity.

Shah Rukh Khan will star in a Vidhu Vinod Chopra production

It’s finally fallen into place - Shah Rukh Khan will star in a Vidhu Vinod Chopra production.

While they have never worked together in the past, the fact is that Vidhu has been trying to do a film with Shah Rukh for years now. Vidhu had wanted him for Kareeb, then for 1942-A Love Story, Munnabhai MBBS and even 3 Idiots, but every single time, something went wrong. In fact, Shah Rukh’s failure to do 3 Idiots led to a fall out between them.

Shah Rukh had given his consent to do 3 Idiots but later withdrew from the project after Vidhu criticised his film Paheli. The friction escalated after Vidhu said Shah Rukh was trying to lure Rajkumar Hirani to direct films for his own production house, Red Chillies.

The thaw started in June last year when Shah Rukh and Vidhu shared the same platform during the rift between producers-distributors and multiplex owners. A source says, “There is no animosity between them now. In fact, they are very friendly with each other.”

The renewed friendship is now set to be cemented with a film called Ferrari Ki Sawaari. According to a well placed industry source, Shah Rukh has given his nod to the project.

Interestingly, Aamir Khan had been offered the film first but he turned it down because he wanted to concentrate on the post-production of his three home productions - Dhobi Ghaat, Peepli Live and Delhi Belly.

Ferrari Ki Sawaari is a tale about how an Indian cricket legend’s Ferrari makes a young boy’s dream of playing cricket at Lords come true. The film is also loosely inspired by a bestseller. Rajesh Mapuskar, who has been a longtime associate of Vidhu’s favourite director Rajkumar Hirani, will direct this film.

On his part, Vidhu just said, “It’s too early to comment.” Neither Aamir nor Shah Rukh were available for comment.

“The popular TV show “Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) was initially hosted by Bollywood Super Star Amitabh Bachchan, followed by Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan and now the next Celebrity is the most populr Bollywood figure Amir Khan of three Idiots, is likely to host “Kaun Banega Crorepati”. This show is considered to be the most popular and the most liked by the people in terms of entertainment and earning.

This news has delighted millions of his fans. There is no doubt that Aamir has been approached for this show and there is no information so far whether he has accepted the offer or not. Aamir Khan's first ever stage performance On Super Stars Ka Jalwa

The film industry’s perfectionist, Aamir Khan who till date has turned down several offers from the small screen, will finally be seen on STAR CINTAA – ‘Super Stars Ka Jalwa’ for his first ever stage performance.

Media reports, “Even though, initially when approached by Star CINTAA, Aamir had to postpone the shoot due to a serious leg injury but true to his word, he recuperated and completed the shoot in record time in spite of not having too much experience of performing on stage.”

Seen sharing the spotlight on stage will be few stars like Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor and R. Madhavan giving him a company and shaking a leg to the latest flick 3 idiot’s tracks like ‘Zoobie Doobie’ with Kareena Kapoor and ‘All Izz Well’ with remaining two idiots.

Aamir Khan help to hundreds of people of Haiti quake victims

Actor Aamir Khan Sunday asked Indians to support hundreds of thousands of Haitians devastated by an earthquake.

"What has happen in Haiti is really terrible and I would strongly recommend the people of India to reach out and help in every way possible," Aamir told reporters at Grand Hyatt here Sunday, where auction of Indian modern art was organised to raise funds for Haiti.

The Jan 12 quake with a magnitude of 7.0 on the Richter scale killed more than 200,000 people and destroyed much of Haiti's capital Port-au-Prince and its surroundings, tearing up roads and bridges and reducing homes and hospitals to rubble.

Aamir supports "Hope for Haiti", an organisation raising funds for the earthquake-affected people of the island.

"I think we should all do what we can to help people who had been through such a tragedy. I am here to support the cause," Aamir said.

Asked if he wants to convey any message to people of Haiti, he said: "It is extremely difficult, at a time when a person has lost everything, to convey or communicate anything. What I want to convey them is all my love and warmth. In times like this, people need to be strong and resilient. Such happenings are beyond our control and we should look inward for strength."

Actor Anil Kapoor, who was present at the event said: "I am very, very proud to see Indians coming up to support this cause. In the last one-and-a-half-years. I have visited the US a number of times and whomever I met there, I have seen everyone has shown his or her eagerness to help India.

"And today India has reached such a position that it can also help. Economically it is growing so strong that it can afford to help others. That makes me proud."

Aamir Khan: Set all the venture into regional cinema

Celebrating his birthday on a rather low note, Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood, Aamir Khan revealed his line of work for the year ahead. The versatile actor has made up his mind to promote regional cinema, which he thinks has a lot of potential both in terms of art and commerce.

Aamir stated that he is now keen to promote regional cinema and is willing to produce regional films hereon. “I would love to produce regional language cinema including Marathi,” said the actor who shared that this year he is “seriously working on to perfect his Marathi and Urdu diction.”

Aamir Khan, James Cameron enthrall audience on future of cinema!!

Aamir Khan, the perfectionist super star of bollywood with terrific films like ‘Lagaan’, ‘Ghajini’, ‘3 Idiots’ to his credit and James Cameron of Hollywood with a line up so strong as ‘Titanic’ and ‘Avatar’, held the audiences captive at Delhi when they spoke about the future of cinema in the world.

Aamir Khan and James Cameron discussed the future direction of cinema, which ‘Avatar’ showed to be in 3D and much more advanced techniques than current breed of products coming in the market.

However, Cameron was candid enough to admit that while making the 3 D extravaganza, he was apprehensive about the response of theatres, as not many of them were equipped to screen such type of movies before ‘Avatar’

The ace director revealed that only way out left for him was to make the film so beautiful and compelling that theatres did not have any option left but to go for upgrading their equipments to come to terms with ‘3D’ phenomenon, if they wanted to remain in business.

And surprisingly, Cameron’s gamble paid and theaters renovated themselves to screen the flick and earned profit. So much so that the ‘Avatar’ not only became the highest grosser at the box office but also changed the experience and feel of cinema for ever.

In fact, James Cameron had to handle the refrigerator- sized 3 D cameras with difficulty while shooting for the film, but passion was such that the ace filmmaker was not prepared to compromise on anything less than that. He had already waited for almost ten years after writing the script for the film and so was not prepared to do the same again.

Even the making of ‘Avatar’ took almost four and half years of James Cameron’s time, who had earlier directed super duper mega hit flick ‘Titanic’ with De Caprio and Kate Winslet.

Besides Aamir Khan and James Cameron, the gathering also included the likes of gorgeous beauty Asin (of ‘Ghajini’ fame), Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Koel Puri and others.

Its Bad news for Aamir Khan fans, as the actor is going to bid goodbye to the film fraternity for 2 years.

Aamir Khan Marks Record Breaking Inning Of Rs 35 Cr Ad Deal

May be personal set back must have bogged down Aamir Khan but success seems to be much in his favor. Currently he has hit a jackpot of Rs 35 crore deal for an ad contact. The actor of ’3 Idiots’ fame has signed a contract with a UAE-based telecommunications service provider as their brand ambassador for a cool sum of 35 crore.

He has been listed as the top brand ambassador among the other celebrity figures of Bollywood, surpassing even the icons like Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan by hitting an unbelievable jackpot of Rs 35 crore deal for an ad. Previously, any famous celebrity would not bag an endorsement deal of more than Rs. 15-crore.

This brand endorsement deal with the UAE which the noted actor made is for a two-year contract. According to its term, Aamir will have to make himself available for an allotted number of media shoots, press advertisements and personal appearances.

In reaction to this surprising news the advertisement guru Prahlad Kakkar, who directed Aamir’s first cola commercial stated this is a hell lot of money which the actor had received in comparison to his Rs 17 lakh for Coca Cola ad in 1993.
