Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shilpa Shetty, Amitabh Bachchan: Most common things?

Bollywood3000 News Updates: The most popular film stars of bollywood are prone to certain beliefs and prejudices, and the highest common factor found to be predominant amongst many stars, male or female are that they are all addicted to the stones!
Now, The stones, refers to the Gem Stones, and not just any stone. So, if we look closely at stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan or even the sexy Shilpa Shetty, to name just a few, they all have the Gemstone or Stones, flashing from their fingers or even wrist( in case of Salman Khan).
For instance, Amitabh Bachchan is known to adorn these blue Sapphires, and at one point of time he even had two of them on his right hand middle finger. It slowly came back to just one later.

Salman Khan, who is well known for his patent thick silver chain wrist band with an oval shaped blue stone, whatever that, might be, but, he never seems to remove it from his right wrist.

Aishwarya Rai is seen flaunting her gemstone in her middle finger too, but hers is also on the right hand finger. Shilpa Shetty, who is known for her Emerald and diamond studded ring, worn in her little finger of her right hand. She wears her engagement diamond stud in her left ring finger!

Now, what must these great stars want out of these gemstones, do these bring in any good turn of events in ones life? There are innumerable questions regarding these remedial measures, but strangely, the answer is just a simple one- It’s all in the mind!

If the wearer of the stone has a distinct belief, then all eternity will shower their blessings on you. If not, then every diamond under the Sun cannot help you to overcome your problems!

Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan: Are they Looks a like with each other?

When was the last you though that Shah Rukh Khan copies Amitabh Bachchan? Ok, let me change the question a bit. When have thought that SRK is following Big B’s footprints? Well, these questions might have occurred on your mind. But has it ever struck you that Big B looks like SRK? Ok, don’t laugh now, and please don’t expect that I will try to prove this mis-fact with some silly arguments.
As Big B revealed in his blog recently, when he was coming from Malaysia to Mumbai, an officer on the Airport mistaken him as SRK, and he greeted him as ‘Hello… Mr. Shah Rukh Khan’. He became literally ‘speechless’, and just laughed. Now he is thinking whether he should take it as a compliment or something else.

‘Airports are strange places. Kuala Lampur International Airport (KLIA) is no different from any airport where the staff would immediately recognize any celebrity, except a few exceptions. They mob and ask for pictures and stuff…I oblige…it makes them happy,’ Amitabh posted on his blog bigb.bigadda.com Monday.

‘They (Malaysians) seem to be obsessed with our cinema and with our artists. One today, uniformed and medalled, walked past me in the crowded duty free, turned back after expressing some recognition and smiled – ‘Hello… Mr. Shah Rukh Khan’,’ he added.

It left him at his wits end. Obviously it was an embarrassing situation, though it was the first time he had to face something like that, so he didn’t had any words to say. Big B, who is known for his wittiness and prompt answers, was at loss of words.

‘I am still debating in my head whether I should take this as a compliment or not. For the official to find absolute dedication in his name giving, sends me a healthy feeling,’ he wrote.

Well, shall we say the hair style……I am joking. SRK doesn’t have a beard!

Amitabh, Salman, Shahrukh, Akshay, Abhishek-Most Popular Stars on TV Screen

The idiot box is no longer the poor cousin of cinema. With nation’s biggest superstars doing their own shows and bringing the choicest of Bollywood brigade along with them, television  is now as popular as the big screen. In recent years there have been many Bollywood stars who have been featured in TV shows. We name here five most successful Bollywood stars who have been showing their magic in the small screen too.
Amitabh Bachchan is the man who changed the concept of television and his fortune with the hugely popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati. The show resurrected his career and the show got an ll time high TRPS.This show became a sort of craze and it is still used as an example of how a single hit show can boost an actor’s career and image.
Abhishek Bachchan has become a household name, thanks to the popularity of the show Idea National Bingo Night’. The show is fun filled with highly entertaining games and it makes the idea of weekend even more special. The show is highly interactive and it does not require racking one’s brains in order to answer the questions.
Salman Khan is one of the biggest Bollywood stars who are equally popular on the small screen. While Salman has this image of bad boy, people had the chance to catch his real life person and it was surprisingly different from the popular image he has.
He came across a nice, smiling guy who has got a great sense of humour. He can mix with people from all walks of life and Salman Khan, the superstar never overshadows them.
Shahrukh Khan is another actor who has never been shy of trying out new things and he was at his usual self when he decided to host KBC Show.KBC was made famous by Amitabh Bacchan and people were skeptical that KBC would lose its glamour and authenticity.

However, Shahrukh gave KBC a new dimension and the show got high ratings. He later hosted another show Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain? which did average business.

Akshay Kumar, too, gained much popularity with the hit show Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi.Akshay loves adventure sports and his passion was evident when he used to encourage the participants and motivated them in times of emotional crisis. In fact, many of the stunts were initially performed by the man himself. He used to do so that the participants get inspired by watching him.

Apart from all these stars, celebrities like Govinda, Madhuri Dixit, Karisma Kapoor have tried their luck in the small screen. The latest star to join the bandwagon is Priyanka Chopra who will host the new season of Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi.

Aamir Khan 3 Idiots, Shah Rukh rock, Big B, Aishwarya Rai dump Filmfare!!

Aamir Khan-Kareena Kapoor starrer flick ‘3 Idiots’ rocked at the fifty-fifth Filmfare awards function by winning in the best feature film, best director, story, screenplay and supporting actor categories but Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan dumped the function and refused to attend the gala night hosted by Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan.
As was expected Aamir Khan did not turn up at the function but his flick ‘3 Idiots’ made the most of it and won the largest number of prizes. However, the best actor award went to Amitabh Bachchan for his towering performance as Auro in Balki’s ‘Paa’.
Even Kareena Kapoor could not win the award for her role in ‘3 Idiots’ and it went to classical Indian beauty Vidya Balan for her sensitive portrayal of Amitabh Bachchan’s mother in Balki’s ‘Paa’.
Another noticeable thing about the award function was the presence of veteran Shashi Kapoor on a wheel chair who was honored with the life time achievement award. Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan, who hosted the fifty-fifth edition of Filmfare awards function held at Yashraj Studios made the atmosphere fun- filled by their witty one liners and humorous acts.

Saif Ali Khan’s act of copying size zero Karenna Kapoor on the stage on the request of Shah Rukh Khan had the audiences in splits. In fact, Saif Ali was perfect as he showed the sexy latkas jhatkas from his sizzling hot beau on the stage before a packed house.

Almost all of bollywood was present in full strength and that included the handsome hunk Hrithik Roshan with wife Suzanne, sultry beauty Bipasha Basu with beau John Abraham, Kajol, Deepika Padukone, Gauri Khan, Vidya Balan, Lara Dutta, Rekha, Sridevi, Tabu and others.

Of course, the absence of Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan was sorely missed at the function. It may be recalled that Aishwarya Rai had decided to dump the award function and Amitabh, Abhishek went with her in this decision of retaliation.

Furious Bachchans give Filmfare awards the skip

The Bachchans are still furious at the tabloid story surrounding Aishwarya Rai's pregnancy.
Bollywood's first family kept away from the 55th Filmfare Awards on Saturday evening, sticking to their threat of boycott. Aishwarya Rai, who was supposed to perform at the event, also decided to pull out.
Stay off Aishwarya Rai, say angry Bachchans
The family is angry that the Mumbai Mirror, which published the article, still hasn't formally apologised for the story, which claimed Aishwarya was suffering from stomach tuberculosis, leading to an inability to conceive - a news branded as “completely false” by father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan.

The Mumbai Mirror and Filmfare both belong to the Times Group.

Big B demands apology for 'violation of journalistic norms'

Meanwhile, actress Vidya Balan collected the Big B’s Filmfare award on his behalf on Saturday evening. The actress shared top acting honours with Bachchan, following the duo's performance in Balki's Paa. Vidya won Best Actor in a Leading Role (female) and Amitabh Bachchan roped in Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male).

Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha- This was a huge affair and it took the entire industry by a tumult. However even to this Mr. Bachchan denies to the affair, yet it was quite a landmark in the history of extra marital affairs of Bollywood.
Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao- The actor who used to be a role model suddenly divorced his wife and married Kiran Rao. This for sometime had a negative impact on his career but he managed to recover it. Saif Ali Khan and his string of girlfriends- Well he was married to actress Amrita Singh for 13 years. But that did not matter to him and went ahead with Rosa an Italian model for some time. Then he supposedly found love in Kareena Kapoor who apparently broke off form Shahid Kapur to be with him. Yes we know it sounds confusing and too much dumping in here!

Salman meets Amitabh Bachchan

The last time he came to Mumbai, he was on the rebound after his divorce from Padma Lakshmi, and his attentions to Riya Sen at a party had caused a bit of a flutter. Salman Rushdie arrived in town again this week for a twoday trip, but this time it was sen-sational for entirely different reasons.

Accompanying him was Deepa Mehta, who is making an adaptation of his Midnight’s Children . Both of them had a meeting with Amitabh Bachchan at his Juhu bungalow on January 5. Although Amitabh had met Deepa earlier, this was his first meeting with Rushdie.

While Rushdie’s visit wasn’t publicised, the low profile had more to do with personal privacy than any security fears. “As far as I could see, there’s no fear to his life. He travels in a relaxed atmosphere. I couldn’t see any security arrangements. He loved meeting Mr Bachchan, whom he was really keen to interact with,” said Deepa, who accompanied the writer.

Even Big B confirmed the meeting saying, “Yes we have met. I am looking at the script.”

Amitabh is playing the key role of Dr Aadam Aziz (the young protagonist Saleem Sinai’s grandfather). The character is that of an Indian doctor with Western sensibilities, struggling to reconcile opposing cultures in post-Independence India.

Interestingly, Abhishek Bachchan will be playing the younger Dr Aadam Aziz, the first time father and son will be cast together in an international project. For now, Deepa, who has collaborated with Rushdie for the film’s screenplay, is reluctant to reveal her cards. “I have met Mr Bachchan...he was warm and welcoming and liked what we told him,” is all she said. However, the crucial role of Saleem is yet to be cast.

Midnight’s Children will also bring together Shabana Azmi and Amitabh Bachchan, last seen together in Tinnu Anand’s Main Azaad Hoon in 1989. Shabana will play Amitabh’s wife Naseem. Shahana Goswami has been signed to play the younger Naseem. Incidentally, Javed Akhtar, (he wrote Main Azaad Hoon and brought Shabana and Amitabh together for the film), arranged the meeting with Rushdie.
