Aishwarya to Preity - Bollywood Actresses are What to say with each other?

When the stars get together to chat you can be sure it's juicy! Whether they gossip about their latest love interest or newest fight with a movie director, we love to know what's going on in our favorite celebs' lives!

But while a photo can say more than words, it's hard to tell from a pic what the stars are up to. So why don't you tell us; what are they sayin'?

Oh, oh! What is going on here? Aishwarya Rai Bachchan bumped into Preity Zinta  the other day at an event, and it doesn't look like the two were all smiles! Even Ritesh Deshmukh looks nervous about being in the picture!

Could they simply be discussing a script for a new - serious - movie they are working on? Or are the two Bollywood actresses talking about who should walk in front of the cameras and who should stay behind?

Judging by Ritesh's facial expression, the girls are not all chummy, chummy! The "Housefull" actor looks quite worried that the photographer will capture the fight!

1. Priyanka Chopra- The latest actress to don the trimmed hair is Priyanka Chopra. Piggy Chops chopped her hair for ‘Pyaar Impossible’ and looked her yummiest best till date.

2. Deepika Padukone- This leggy lass turned many a heads when she adorned her head with short hair in ‘Karthik Calling Karthik’. Only, if Ranbir had watched that film before calling it quits, may be, their real life story would have been different.

3. Rani Mukherjee- She went the cool, chic way in the Saif Ali Khan rom-com ‘Hum Tum’ and the film was a superhit. Perhaps, Rani needs to trim her hairs again as she is in dire need of a hit.

 4. Kajol- The tomboyish look in  Shahrukh Khan starrer ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ made her all the more enviable and we could hardly keep our eyes off her as she played her role to perfection with her short manes dangling up and down as she hopped like a child in the 1st half of the super duper hit flick.

 5. Preity Zinta- She essayed the character of a journalist (with short hair) in the Hrithik Roshan starrer ‘Lakshya’. Her character was hailed for its boldness and candid nature.

Bollywood has got some very stylish actors and actresses and they have got some best wardrobe collections in Bollywood. While some stars have an inherent sense of style, others have learnt it through trial and error. Here we present three actresses and three actors who have got the best wardrobe collections in b-town.

Bipasha Basu is a got fabulous sense of style. She knows what suits her body and are seen wearing dresses that fit her perfectly.Bipasha looks sensuous and sexy in both Indian wear and Western outfits. Her collection of saris is also amazing. She works out religiously and that is the reason her body is so fit and well toned.

In films like’Omkara’she has wowed the audience with her Indian dresses while in films like ‘Dhoom 2’  and ‘Bachna Ae Hasino’she played the role of a modern girl who is much comfortable in Western wear. In the soon to be released film Pankh, she will be seen in nine different looks.

Reflecting back on the days bygone, I recall that we have done some healthy debates on which Bollywood actress has the most luscious lips or who has got the best body or who has the best curves? Let’s sit back and ponder over the grave issue of which actress has got the yummiest back.

1. Aishwarya Rai- The 36-year old lady has featured in most of our lists as she is the epitome of perfect beauty. Be it the charm of her flawless face or the magic of her hypnotic eyes, she has fans drooling over her. And if you want to see her back from close range, watch the Bengali film ‘Chokher Bali’ in which she is draped in only a traditional Bengali sari without any blouse.

2. Priyanka Chopra- This dusky brunette surely turned the male pulse racing when she donned that golden bikini in ‘Dostana’ and we have also seen her in many a backless numbers. No doubt, her back is as inviting as her front.

3. Kareena Kapoor- This belle has done those backless scenes in numerous films, the latest being ‘Kurbaan’ whose poster ran into controversy for showing her naked back clung to Saif Ali Khan’s bare chest. From ‘Asoka’ to ‘Kurbaan’ and in other films like ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum’, she has scorched the screen with her backless outfits. 4. Preity Zinta- I had to include her just for that one film ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ in which her black, backless number looks so elegant and gorgeous that her image has stayed etched in my mind. Though, she is more famous for her dimples, her back is more than worth a look which was also on full display in the rain song ‘Idhar Chala Main Udhar Chala’.

Bollywood Actress Preity Zinta Brand Ambassador for UN AIDS!

It was on Thursday, the 11th of March, that the UNAIDS, officially appointed actress and IPL franchisee, Preity Zinta as their Brand Ambassador. The actress in turn has promised to make sure that her IPL team, Kings eleven Punjab would leave no stone unturned to spread awareness of HIV/AIDS amongst the spectators and viewers.

There is a schedule that has to be followed by her team. On the day of the first match between Kings Eleven Punjab and Delhi Dare Devils, an HIV positive person would accompany the captain of Preity’s team for the Toss ritual. Besides that, all the players would wear a red ribbon on their jerseys to mark the Awareness of the positive syndrome.

There are plans to make a film too, so as to spread the awareness. The short film would be like a documentary with the captain of the Kings Eleven Punjab Kumar Sangakara, Preity Zinta, and Yuvraj Singh who is the main batsman of Preity’s team.

Preity is the only bollywood star to have been appointed as the Brand Ambassador. The other personalities who have already endorsed the UNAIDS foundation are Hollywood actor Naomi Watts, German footballer Michael Ballack, and last but not the least, Pakistani singer Salman Ahmed.The good cause of this campaign is going to be spread in a vast number of audiences, considering the kind of popularity that IPL has already gained.

Preity Zinta indicated that was not averse to joining politics.

Bollywood Actress Preity Zinta praised the Women's Reservation Bill on Thursday, saying it will reduce discrimination and bias against women - and indicated that was not Againts to joining politics.

"This (the bill) provides an incredible opportunity to women. We have women in important position. Our president (Pratibha Patil) is a woman. Sonia Gandhi is there.

There will be more woman in our parliament," the actor told reporters in New Delhi on the sidelines of a health event organised by UNAIDS.

Amid pandemonium, the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday passed the Women's Reservation Bill. It will now have to be passed by the Lok Sabha before it goes to the president for her assent to become a law. Once enacted, it will reserve 33 per cent seats in the Lok Sabha and state legislatures for women.

"Once the bill is passed, it will provide a new chapter. We hope the bill is passed (by the Lok Sabha) smoothly," she added.

Asked whether she planned to join politics, a smiling Preity did not rule out the possibility. "I am not saying never," she added.

Preity Zinta in the middle of property dispute

This is something that usually happens only in a Bollywood film. But, this time round, it's happening in real life and how. Ironically, the people involved in this are the B-town residents. We are talking about the family of legendary late Kamaal Amrohi, which is in news due to their property dispute that's worth over a staggering Rs.600 crore!

Shandar, one of Kamaal Amrohi's three children, has now filed a case against his sister Rukhsar and brother Wasim stating that they have falsely pledged his shares in 'Mahal Pictures Pvt Ltd' (that owns the famous Kamaal Amrohi studio), to a company in Pune.

As he was struggling his way through the cops to file a complaint, entered Preity Zinta, his 'adopted' daughter (who, of late has been tweeting about how difficult it is to file an FIR these days), who offered to shoulder his cause ahead.

For starters, Shandar always took Preity Zinta as his daughter ever since he saw her films. No wonder then, he had announced that he would pass on all his property to Preity. Shandar, on his part, opined that he is battling not for money but for justice and that Preity is helping him fight it, despite strong opposition from the other family members.
