Katrina Kaif's RAJNEETI largely based on Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s life

Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor starrer latest flick ‘Rajneeti’, which is directed by veteran film maker Prakash Jha deals with serious political drama as well as politics as it happens in our everyday life, in families and at social gathering etc without being a dirty tool or as they say ‘cesspool of politics.’

The director is especially excited about Katrina Kaif, the sizzling hot babe of bollywood who is known for her glamorous performances in flicks like ‘Singh Is Kinng’, ‘Welcome’, ‘Namaste London’,  for keeping the momentum with a simple sari and delivering a speech before a gathering of ten thousand people in Hindi without any problem.

The highlight of the whole thing is that the speech was delivered by Katrina Kaif as a sari- clad politician in her own voice without help from any dubbing artist or so. The lady gushes that besides hard work on the part of director and whole team, her excellent memory had helped her in sailing through the speech before that mammoth gathering. The movie also boasts of such seasoned actors as Nana Patekar, Ajay Devgan, Manoj Bajpai, Arjun Rampal, Naseeruddin Shah, etc, who play pivotal roles in the film.

As the film is due for release in the month of June, the makers of ‘Rajneeti’ are planning to start a publicity blitzkrieg for the film very soon by visiting and initiating serious  political debate in eight selected cities of the country. Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor and other members of the cast will visit the colleges and encourage free debates in the colleges of these eight cities.

The buzz doing the rounds in the industry is that Katrina Kaif’s character in this Prakash Jha’s flick is largely based on Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s life. In the flick, Katrina even dresses like Sonia Gandhi in demure saris with minimal make up and all that. However, Prakash Jha and co, for obvious reasons, denies it to avoid any unnecessary controversy before the release of the film in theatres.
