Katrina Kaif seems hell-bent to silence her detractors - those who’ve pigeonholed her as a non-actress who can’t get her dialogues right.
That’s why the actress chose not to rest or relax when an important trip of hers to London got cancelled last week due to the volcanic eruption in Iceland. Though upset she was about not being able to make it to London for a very important family function, she used the free time to re-dub some of her dialogues in Raajneeti.
Katrina, as you must know, plays a woman who reluctantly enters politics after the death of her husband in the film. She speaks dialogues and political speeches in shuddh Hindi.
The actress had already dubbed all her dialogues for the film but felt there was a room for improvement. So, when her trip to UK got cancelled, she called up director Prakash Jha and asked him to arrange for a re-dubbing session.
Jha, already satisfied with Kat’s dubbing, was surprised at the actress’s drive to seek perfection. Kat dubbed her dialogues on Saturday and Sunday and left the dubbing studio only after she was certain that she’d got all the dialogues right.
