Salman Khan, the macho man of bollywood who plays the lead in Anil Sharma’s upcoming flick ‘Veer’ opposite newbie Zarine Khan, has been connecting with the kids to popularize his latest release.
Recently, the handsome hunk was furious at his security guard when he saw him pushing a kid who wanted to come forward to meet him during the music release of Veer’. Sources present on the occasion say that Salman not only called the kid forward but also gave an autographed CD to him. Initially, the kid was very apprehensive of the whole thing but when he saw Salman favoring him, he became ecstatic at the opportunity.
Though Salman Khan has been infamous for his hot temper and mood swings but nobody complained about his behavior this time as it was for the benefit of the kid and not for Sallu’s own benefit.
It may be recalled that Salman Khan has suffered too much in his life due to bad temper—just recall his spat with Shah Rukh Khan at Katrina’s birthday party or his banging on the doors of his ex Aishwarya Rai.
However, this time Salman Khan lost his temper for the benefit of the kid and this will certainly benefit him in creating a positive image among the audiences, especially in view of his upcoming flick ‘Veer’. Even otherwise Salman Khan has always been very fond of kids and always goes out of his way to accommodate them.
The latest example of Salman Khan’s generosity came to the fore when he took part in a kids’ programme at a school recently. Salman Khan not only danced with kids on the occasion, but also encouraged them to come on stage and overcome the stage fright. However, Salman Khan did not forget to promote his upcoming film ‘Veer’ on the occasion and told kids to become ‘Veer’ like him and face the world boldly. Kids were overwhelmed by Salman’s kind gesture and applauded loudly.
The function was held at Jamnabai School where children from nineteen schools had gathered to participate in a programme called Cascade. The presence of Salman Khan added to the joy of kids on the occasion.
‘Veer’ has Salman Khan playing a Pindari warrior opposite new hottie Zarine Khan. Salman plays a hero who fights the British Empire in the nineteenth century pre-independent India. Film has been directed by Anil Sharma of ‘Gadar’ fame and produced by Vijay Galani. The story has been written by Salman Khan himself.
