Geetha Arts joins hands with Shahrukh Khan

In what is being seen as one of the most unique and powerful combinations, there are reports that the famous Geetha Arts banner has got into a tie up with none other than Shahrukh Khan and he would be seen in their film soon.

It is said that Allu Sirish, son of Allu Aravind will be the executive producer for this one and sources reveal that the story and other formalities have already been discussed.

Apparently, a very famous director from the South will be the director of this movie as per reports. There has been a buzz going on about Shahrukh teaming up with A M Murugadoss but no formal confirmation or announcement has been made on that end.

But if this venture happens, then it should be interesting.

Amrita Arora's dream honeymoon in Europe

How perfect is this saying in the case of the recently wedded Bollywood lass Amrita Arora. After a three day wedding ceremony, Amrita and her hubby Shakeel Ladhak have set off on the blissful path of a married life. Bollywood Hungama came across these images that shout out the idyllic life these two are currently enjoying.

Amrita and Shakeel are back from their three-week honeymoon in Europe. The ever shimmering lass describes her honeymoon as nothing but a fantastic road trip. The couple had originally planned to go to Mexico, but had to change the venue because of the civil strife there. The trip, which was entirely planned by Shakeel, started from Barcelona to Spain, Paris, Italy, Capri, Venice, Florence and London.

Amrita, who is known for being a shopoholic was for a change subdued as the trip was aimed more at exploring the cities and locals they visited. Though most of the destinations are prime shopping spots, Amrita managed to hold her resolute, and by the look of the images, we are certain that she enjoyed herself.

One thing is for sure, at the end of their honeymoon, the couple is soaring on cloud nine and we at Bollywood Hungama wish them all the luck for the years to come.

A Jhalak of Anushka Sharma

Anushka Sharma of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi fame can't wait to show off her dance skills in this weekend's episode of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.

Rajul Hegde caught up with the pretty actress during her rehearsal at Jhalak house to know what she's been up to, and whether she's signed any new films.

How does it feel to be on Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa?

It feels very good. And this is a great platform to launch the Rab Ne DVD. It is a very popular show and a big platform for us.

Do you really need to rehearse for Haule Haule, the song you'll be dancing on, on the show?

If you notice, it's Surendar Suri (Shah Rukh Khan) who dances to Haule haule in the film, not me. I performed on Dance pe. I'm dancing to a remix version of Haule Haule. Hard Kaur has rapped very nicely to it.

Jiah Khan leaves 'Yahoo' by choice

It was Jiah Khan ’s own will to leave movie Yahoo opposite Shahid Kapur , contrary to the past reports that she was removed unceremoniously from the movie.Directed by Ken Ghosh , ‘Yahoo’ had Jiah playing the female lead. But recently Genelia D'Souza stepped in her shoes. And the reasons cited were that Jiah’s presence in the movie didn’t spark that magic which the director wanted. Another rumoured reason was that Shahid was not so fond of Jiah.While Jiah herself opted out of this movie, UTV Motion Pictures, producers of ‘Yahoo’, have signed her for two other projects.

“UTV has signed me for two of their future films to be started later this year,” said the actress. And UTV’s COO Ram Mirchandani also cleared the rumours troubling Jiah. He said, “Speculations in the industry about Jiah Khan being dropped out of Ken Ghosh’s project are completely erroneous. It was a mutual decision whereby Jiah opted out of the project seeing a misfit between the character and Jiah.”

Actually when Manurishi Chadda of Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! fame joined the writer’s team of Nupur Asthana (script writer) and dialogue writer Kiran Kotriyal, certain changes were done in the script and the characterization of female lead as well. After this, both production house and Jiah Khan came to the conclusion that role didn’t suit her. “With the changes they made on the script and the character, I myself felt that I do not suit the character”, says Jiah.
However, UTV acknowledges Jiah’s talent and acting skills and is in a process to start soon the projects with her.

Priyanka Chopra back to work!

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is back to work once again. The actress was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital here for a stomach infection.

She’s now discharged and is back on the sets of Ashutosh Gowariker’s What’s Your Rashee? This movie is based on a Gujarati novel Kimball Ravenswood by noted playwright Madhu Rye.
Before this Priyanka Chopra had fainted while shooting for the movie and later diagnosed with stomach infection.

She stayed at home for a few days but when her condition didn’t improve, she was admitted to the hospital over the weekend for a few tests.
In Gowariker’s romantic comedy, Priyanka is playing 12 different characters, sources close to the actor said.

Sprite IPL campaign to feature Shahrukh Khan, Sourav Ganguly

Beverages major Coca-Cola India Tuesday announced a new communication initiative for its sparkling drink brand Sprite featuring Bollywood star and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) promoter Shahrukh Khan and cricket star Sourav Ganguly.

The campaign will be launched during the second season of the IPL Twenty20 cricket tournament in South Africa starting from April 18, Coca-Cola India said in a statement.
“As part of brand Sprite’s 360 degree communication plans, Shahrukh Khan, the Bollywood superstar and owner Kolkata Knight Riders, Saurav Ganguly, the captain of KKR and other members of the team, including Murali Karthik and Ajit Agarkar would feature in a new campaign to be aired during the IPL,” it said.

Sprite is an associate sponsor and the official ‘pouring partner’ of the KKR IPL franchise team.
The campaign would include mass media, besides leveraging out-of-home media through special location specific creatives.

In addition, Sprite and Nokia has launched a ‘Para´ (neighborhood) cricket series in Kolkata. Eleven players from contest would be taken to South Africa to cheer for KKR, it added.
